Lab Tests

Lab tech takes a patient's blood sample
In the LabCorp suite, a phlebotomist draws a patient's blood for testing.

Norfolk Cancer Center contracts with LabCorp to offer laboratory testing on-site. For patients, this means relatively no waiting for lab tests. We have a fully equipped hematology laboratory that provides rapid patient results and professional interpretation of peripheral blood. The phlebotomist can draw blood, collect samples, and send specimens out for special testing. The lab offers a wide range of testing that allows for the most accurate and timely results.
